The inaugural AYU golf weekend lands this September and we’re starting right at the top, with a visit to the home of golf.
On September 23rd, select AYU members and their significant others will be invited to join us for the weekend to experience Hamilton Grand, a spectacular collection of 26 luxury private residences situated on the 18th hole of the world’s most famous golf course. As part of the trip, AYU members will be staying at the property’s iconic 5* sister hotel, Old Course Hotel & Spa, one of the top hotels in Scotland.
We’ll be travelling north together as an AYU team and arriving to a warm Scottish welcome on Thursday night for a champagne reception and dinner, overlooking the old course.
On Friday guests will experience a round of golf (or a spa day, for non-golfers) and more of the finest locally sourced food and drink, shopping, local sights and club houses. Saturday offers the chance to explore a little further to extend the trip with another round. Go on then!
We couldn’t be more excited to be hosting our first golf weekend at the sport’s spiritual home.

Our Itinerary:
Thursday 23rd Sept
4pm flight, London City to Edinburgh (+transfer)
7:30pm Arrive at The Old Course Hotel, welcome drinks, dinner and night caps
Friday 24th Sept
8-9am Breakfast and morning tee time, Dukes Golf Course (for golfers)
Spa treatments at The Old Course Hotel (non-golfers)
1pm Lunch at clubhouse or spa
3pm Tour of The Hamilton Grand and St Andrews
7pm Whisky tasting
8pm Dinner and drinks
Saturday 25th Sept
9am Breakfast
Free time for second round of golf or further spa treatments (£)
Check out and depart on 5:30pm flight
OR extend your stay for an extra night at a small additional cost
