Full Stack Developer

Description

We're looking for a mid-to-senior-level full-stack developer to join our experienced digital team, who are responsible for building and maintaining our platforms on mobile and the web.

We expect you to be involved across our entire codebase, from improving performance and stability of the existing platform, to developing greenfield features.

This is a primarily IC role, with significant product ownership responsibility and a focus on delivering product maturity and scale.

Our Company

AYU is a private community that serves to connect alternative investment professionals.

We've been at the heart of the alternative investment industry for 10 years, building a community through our in-person events.

In the last three years we've added a digital platform to support the network, and we're growing rapidly - we've been doubling our membership base every year since.

We're now launching a suite of new tech-driven experiences for our members, driving capital introductions and investment.

Our Stack

We run a relatively clean, low-debt codebase. You aren't expected to have experience with every framework we use, but you are expected to pick things up quickly.

Languages: PHP, Javascript

Frameworks: Laravel, React, React Native

Other tech: Docker, NGINX, iredmail

Experience and required skills

Some experience with the technologies we use is an advantage, but we are looking for generalists. We're looking for an experienced IC with 5+ years experience, looking to step in and own a codebase and bring a series of products to maturity and scale.

Education and experience

Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Maths, Engineering or other hard sciences degree

OR

Active open-source contribution

Salary and perks

Very competitive salary.
