on the River Test
On May 27, 2024, we hosted the inaugural AYU Fly Fishing Day event with renowned angler Marina Gibson. The event aimed to provide participants with an opportunity to learn from a seasoned expert in fly fishing and improve their angling skills.
Participants were treated to a day filled with insightful demonstrations, hands-on practice, and one-on-one coaching sessions with Marina. Her expertise and passion for fly fishing shone through as she shared valuable tips and techniques to enhance the fishing experience.
The event fostered a sense of camaraderie among the select group of members who shared a common interest in fly fishing. Over a delicious riverside lunch participants exchanged strategies, stories, and experiences, from to angling to alts!
