A spectacular success, seamlessly blending the excitement of polo with a commitment to philanthropy, all set against the backdrop of a perfect summer day.

On July 19th, the AYU community and wider alternatives industry gathered at the prestigious Ham Polo Club for the annual AYU Charity Polo Cup. This year’s event was a spectacular success, seamlessly blending the excitement of polo with a commitment to philanthropy, all set against the backdrop of a perfect summer day.

The day featured two exhilarating polo matches, showcasing the sport's strategic brilliance and the players' remarkable horsemanship. The crowd was on the edge of their seats, captivated by the fast-paced action and elegant plays on the field, with both AYU teams dominating.

Blessed with ideal weather, the event enjoyed clear skies and temperatures peaking at 31 degrees. The sunny and dry conditions provided the perfect setting for both the polo matches and the various outdoor activities.

A highlight of the day was the charity auction, where attendees competed for exclusive items and experiences. From luxury holidays to signed memorabilia, the auction featured something for everyone. The enthusiastic bidding resulted in substantial funds raised for our chosen charities. We are delighted to announce that the event raised a significant amount for charity. These funds will support the incredible work The Prince’s Trust does and other noble causes close to our hearts, demonstrating the generosity and commitment of the AYU community.

Guests were treated to a gourmet selection of food and beverages throughout the day. The catering team excelled with a variety of delicious options, from refreshing summer salads to decadent desserts, complemented by fine wines and of course, the AYU Champagne Bar.

Beyond the polo action, the event was a prime opportunity for networking and socialising. Members connected, shared stories, and forged new relationships in a relaxed and beautiful environment.
